The Pennsylvania Super Lawyers ® award is a significant honor because the winners are ranked by their peers.
The award is also a legally recognized evaluation of fairness and accuracy.
Nominations are not a popularity contest, as they are gathered from across the state using a proprietary system. Evaluations use 12 indicators of performance and experience for each candidate based upon a weighted scale. Some of the factors are: verdicts and settlements, special licenses and certifications, community service and special honors and awards.
Candidates with the highest point totals are researched to ensure their submitted information is accurate and their standing with licensing authorities is appropriate. The group is then whittled down to the top five percent of lawyers in each state. A Super Lawyer is a valuable asset in the court room.
